TEA
The water, hot
Burning,
Surrounds the flower.
For a second, time stops.
Nothing happens.
Then, like a
Wing
The first leaf unfurls,
Languid
As the flower floats.
The second leaf
Sticks.
The flower swirls,
Struggling
In the water.
Spiraling like a bird, who
Tries towards the
Stratosphere.
Then a supernova!
The flower
Expands,
Exploding like a star.
Consuming the water,
Choking the mouth
Of the teapot,
Beating against
The glass walls
Of the
Cage.
Like a star that stretches
The fabric of space.
